My name is Ann Poe, and I am Texas born and bred.  My mom, my sister, and my brother and his family are all proud Texans, inside and out!

When I was five years old, I knew that Jesus died on the cross for my sin.  I asked Jesus to forgive me and received Him as my Savior.  In my teenage years, I doubted my salvation but began to understand that it was faith ALONE in Christ that saved me, not how I felt.  I have not doubted my salvation since then.

I love Texas, but God led me to South Carolina to attend Bob Jones University where I received my B.A. and M.S. degrees.  Then the Lord ordered my steps to Heritage Hall Christian School when Dr. Ice came to BJU for a recruiting conference last February.
